Rufous-collared Sparrow – Costa Rica lifer#35

It can be found from the extreme south-east of Mexico to Tierra del Fuego, and on the island of Hispaniola. Its local name in Costa Rica is “comemaíz” meaning “corn eater”. Length: 13.5-15 cm
